Andrew Davies
Andrew Davies has worked as a volunteer in the field of HIV/AIDS for many years, initially becoming involved through work with community groups in the Caribbean region. He has held various positions on National, regional and International committees addressing HIV and the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS. He has recently worked as a consultant to a number of major international development agencies. Having recently completed a diploma in HIV/AIDS at Thames Valley University, Andrew offers technical guidance to the trustees and is delighted to be playing his part .
Christine Cully
Christine, a POP trustee, started her career working for large financial institutions and has recently decided to change her path and work in the not-for-profit sector. Her experiences in the corporate sector gave her strong financial analysis and reporting skills along with project and people management skills. Since working for various charities over the past year, she has gained solid knowledge of fundraising, sponsorship and advertising.
Flavia Kraus
Flavia is one of the founding members of POP. She has recently changed her career to work for a NGO in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility, enabling her to combine business experience and her passion for ethical business development. She first started her career in the charity sector by working as programme support and fundraiser for the ‘Good Gifts Catalogue’, a charitable venture run by the Charity Advisory Trust. She then worked as a management consultant for a period of 3 years, where she acquired extensive knowledge of project management, internet communications and technology.
Nausheen Qureshi
Nausheen, a Trustee and co-founder of POP, spent her childhood in Kenya and has volunteered regularly to this worthy cause. She is currently running and managing POP’s projects, events and teams of volunteers. She has just recently left a career in consulting, which arms her with a good backbone to the management skills vital to the success of POP, to volunteer full-time for the charity during its growth phase. She will then pursue her MBA to strengthen her business skills. She brings extensive contacts and knowledge on the ground in the countries in which our current projects are based.
